ABOUT MATTHEW... 

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa where his cycling journey began on the mountain bike before immigrating to the Netherlands in 2021 where he converted his focus to the Road as the discipline boasts very large numbers of competitors at each race. 

Racing for Team Fossa who are aiming to become the top Junior team in the Netherlands, Matthew has been given the opportunity to pick the races that best suit him to assist in achieving this team goal. Along with this, Matthew is working towards Team South Africa qualification for Road World Championships.

Matthew has been building his personal brand through Facebook where he has grown a following of over 7000 people and now building on Instagram to showcase his value to teams and brands outside of just racing as well as looking to inspire younger riders who too want to chase the goal of becoming a professional rider.
