ABOUT Lilian...

Like most, Lilian was on a bike from an early age, she was introduced to cross-country racing at the age of 10. Determined to become a better bike handler, her dad build her and her two brothers a cross-country track(an advantage to living on a Game Reserve) - one of the most technical courses in South Africa which certainly helped refine her skills - skills that have assisted her in claiming four National XCO Championship titles.

A huge advocate for getting more girls on bikes, Lilian started racing not to race but to meet other girls who were shredders and just have FUN riding with them. Now, focus is shifted towards challenging herself on both the XCO courses but also in the Marathon and Stage Racing disciplines... Keeping motivated by the goal of competing in the Olympic Games….
